3–16 letters or numbers. This is what you type to log in. 6–16 characters, no spaces. Not case-sensitive in WoW 1.12. Ask the server owner for this.

Getting ready to play

  1. You need your own WoW 1.12.1 client (build 5875). Newer versions won't connect.
  2. Download the realmlist.wtf file below and put it in your WoW folder, next to WoW.exe. Replace the old one if it asks. (Some clients keep it in Data\enUS\ instead. If so, put a copy there too.)
  3. Start the game with WoW.exe, not the launcher, and log in with the account you made here.

Or edit realmlist.wtf by hand so it says only: set realmlist wowplay.lumosvortex.com
